The IFPI (Hong Kong Group) Limited is grateful to the excellent work by the Customs and Excise in both speed and readiness in working with the industry to reduce piracy.

The recording industry had been hardest hit by widespread dis-respect of music in the online world. We hope this sets another example of the value of educating our young people that it is wrong to steal music online simply because they have the tools and other people are doing it.

IFPI (Hong Kong Group) believes both education and updated deterrant in our legal system would help reducing music infringement online, lacking in either does not create a win-win situation.
