The International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (Hong Kong Group) Limited hereby announces that we have duly received the notice of withdrawal of memberships from the following members namely EMI Group Hong Kong Limited, Song BMG Entertainment (HK) Ltd., Warner Music Hong Kong Ltd., Universal Music Ltd. and associate member companies namely Cineploy Records Ltd., Go East Entertainment Co. Ltd., What’s Music International (HK) Ltd., IPS Records Ltd.. We will handle the withdrawal of memberships in the same way and manner as we did with other members who withdrew from memberships previously.

The IFPI (Hong Kong Group) Limited now have 66 Full Members and 10 associate members including (in alphabetical order) Bailey Record Co. Ltd. BMA Records Ltd., Emperor Entertainment (HK) Limited, East Asia Music (Holdings) Ltd., Gold Label Entertainment Ltd., WorldStar Music International Ltd., WOW Music Ltd. just to name a few, and among other regional companies: Avex Asia Ltd. and Rock (HK) Co. Ltd and Forward Music Co. Ltd. (full list available at www.ifpihk.org).

We believe that the change of memberships will not in any way affect our operation. We are committed to promote the interests of Hong Kong recording industry.
